Trimethylol Propane

Trimethylol Propane is white flake crystallization. Soluble in water, low carbon alcohol,glycerin,N,N- dimethyl formamide, partly soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, slightly soluble in carbon tetrachloride, ethyl ether and chloroform, but insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons.

m-Cresol

m-Cresol( CAS 108-39-4) is a colorless liquid with a sweet tarry odor. Sinks and mixes slowly with water.m-Cresol is sensitive to air, light and heat. m-Cresol is also hygroscopic. m-Cresol can react vigorously with strong oxidizers and strong bases. m-Cresol reacts violently with nitric acid, oleum, chlorosulfonic acid, metals and strong acids. If the water content is below approximately 0.3% and the temperature above 248째 F, the corrosion of aluminum and its alloys may occur violently. m-Cresol will attack some forms of plastics, coatings and rubber.It is mainly used as analytical reagent and organic synthesis intermediates.

O-Cresol

O-Cresol (CAS 95-48-7),colorless or yellow to brown-yellow or pinkish colored liquid with a phenol-like odor. Toxic by ingestion and/or skin absorption. May have a flash point between 100 and 199°F. Causes burns to skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Insoluble in water. O-Cresol is incompatible with oxidizing agents and bases. Mixing o-Cresol with chlorosulfonic acid, nitric acid and oleum in a closed contained caused the temperature and pressure to increase.It mainly used in organic synthesis, and as a disinfectant and preservative.
