Nicotinamide (also Niacinamide) exists in white crystalline powder, odorless, bitter taste. It is soluble in water (1g nicotinamide dissolves in 2ml water) and ethanol (1g nicotinamide in 1.5ml ethanol), insoluble in ether and benzene. 

Nicotinamide is water soluble vitamins. It is easy to absorb by human and is widely distributed in the body. The excess part of Nicotinamide in the body can be excreted in urine by metabolism. As part of NADH and NADP +, Nicotinamide can promote the biological oxidation and motabolism of human body, especially the skin, digestive and nervous system.
